I have now ordered wood from Llama for my home here and cabin in the mountains. Before them I would buy wood, it would get dumped, I would have to rent a wood splitter and spend a whole day splitting it to the right size. Then stack and let season for 6-12 months before I could use. Llama is cut to the right size, stacked, and already seasoned. Absolutely worth it!

Overall experience ended positive. I did have to follow up because when the wood was first delivered it was short of a 1/4 cord. Only about 60% was delivered. I was told some boxes of “cooking” wood were being delivered to make up the shortage and I would receive a shipping notification when it was sent. I never received any further communication but a few days later the shortage of my wood was delivered. Wood burns great so all in all a positive experience. Would have been better if the quantity was correct from the start.

Very happy with quality of wood; would have liked more notice from the delivery driver.

It burns really fast, particularly with the size of the wood. So if I do a three layer stack in my fireplace, it's completely burned out in about 45 mins, then if I throw another 5-6 pieces, because the embers are so hot, that will burn out in about another 30 minutes. So while it's easy to start and burns hot, it's labor intensive to have to start over pretty frequently. For my next purchase, I'm curious if there is a way to special order/customize some larger pieces (like double or triple the size of the average current piece). Ideally I would want about half of the larger/customized size and half of the current size. Just a question for future consideration.

We have two fire places and have started having late afternoon and evening fires. The wood burns exceptionally well. The only reason for not giving LLAMAWOOD 5 stars was the subpar delivery. I asked that the wood be dumped in our backyard paved driveway. Instead, wood was dropped in out gravel driveway in the front of the house. The delivery vehicle tore up part of a newly seeded lawn. I wanted the drop in the back driveway to make it easier both for the driver and for me to stack. I provided this guidance twice and was surprised that it wasn’t followed.

The wood seems to be good, dry hardwood, with smaller splits for kindling, as advertised. Most is 15-16" but a small portion is longer. I ordered a full cord and initially much less was delivered. It took a couple of weeks but eventually I received the rest of my order and then some. Communication was super polite and apologetic.

The kiln dried firewood is perfect! Next time I will order a larger quantity and also try the different species of wood for our brick oven and smoker.

So far this has been the perfect product. It’s in storage in our basement to keep the wood dry. We use DampRid to make sure the moisture is taken out of the air to help keep it dryer. This rack is solid and have no regrets. It’s perfect, and we have no regrets. The cover is also really nice. Highly recommend for indoor our outdoor storage.

Ordering process was great. Delivery was scheduled for a day that didn’t work well for me and was simple to reschedule. Wood was delivered and burns great. Only nitpick is I’d like to have a narrower timeframe for delivery. Had to move quick to get a cord of wood moved from the alley into my yard to ensure people could still pass the the alley. With a tighter delivery window, may have enlisted help.

Stuff burns well and since it’s kiln dried, leaves a lot less ash than seasoned wood I used to buy. The wood doesn't burn as well as expected. It's good hard wood and perfect length in my smaller FP but it needs extra paper and/small starters to keep it going. And have been making fires for 60 years. Service was EXCELLENT !!

I was a bit skeptical at first... I usually cut and chop my own firewood or find someone selling it locally. But this year I hurt my knee and could neither cut, split nor purchase local and stack it myself. (Guess I have to face the fact I'm just getting older.) But when I finally pulled the trigger to try obtaining firewood on line I was overwhelmed at the prompt delivery, the courtesy of the employees and that they professionally stacked it on my personal pallets in the back yard!! My wife and I only have occasional outdoor fires in a firepit, so the half cord I bought will last us thru 2 cold seasons, but I will definitely purchase from Llamawood again when I run out.

I’m disappointed in the quality of the wood. It doesn’t burn well at all & extremely small in its size. Even though the scheduled delivery was a week late I understood things happen but again was disappointed overall in the quality.

I was very happy with the quality of the firewood - definitely seasoned, no green wood in the cord. The cord size was also very good. The cost was more than other quotes I got, but it was worth it for sure: better wood and bigger cord.

Ordered 1/6 cord. Only burned a small amount so far but the wood seems really well seasoned and burns clean and easy. Communication about delivery was clear and you can tell they really want to get it right. Wood was left where I asked. Having no idea how much 1/6 of cord was I might opt for the stacked option next time. It was a fair amount of wood.

I had my doubts about ordering firewood online, but they are for real. I ordered 1/6 of a cord as I only need enough for a backyard fireplace and most of the sales on Craigslist are for a full truck load which is more than I can store at a time. I have a 4x4 rack and this order filled it about 75%. I think I got a little less than 1/6 cord, but since they are dumping it from a big truck they have to eyeball it. The wood was all hardwood and cut to the same length and split. I would use Llamawood again.

I haven’t gotten this much wood since the eighth grade! Why get a small bundle at Safeway every week when you can get a whole season’s worth of wood in one fell swoop, dropped on your driveway? Plus they stack nice and I’m the envy of the block for getting wood.

From consistent communication to product quality, I am impressed with my first time buying firewood online. The first fire of the season occurred without issues. I would highly recommend this service to anyone. If I could make one recommendation it would be to allow for longer length cuts for fireplace implementation versus the shorter cuts for fire pits and stoves. However, I can make due with the smaller pieces.

Website was intuitive and easy to find what I needed, checkout process was simple and straightforward, and communication from checkout to delivery was efficient and helpful. Wood was delivered and stacked within a few days of purchase and the quality of the wood was incredible. Great mixture of different types, but it was all dry, seasoned and burned great. We have a solo stove and love to entertain friends and family in our back yard around a fire. When we ran out of wood, Llamawood came in clutch.
